New Year, new shoes

Another custom-made sneaker leaves our workshop for one of our long-time customer. With the stars on the sides, she brings a small part of the night sky to her shoes. Because of a failed surgery intervention at the Hallux Valgus, her front food is too big for a regular pair of shoes. Thanks to the dark blue suede we get an optical illusion, that makes the shoes look thinner at the front part. The two most important things are a smooth roll-off aid which supports a natural walk and a wedge heel that comforts the stability.

The new year can start with melted snow, but with the Vibram rubber sole our customer will be safe on slippery underground.

Because of the arthrosis in the left ankle of our customer, we built orthopedic shoes that cover the ankles on both sides. On the left shoe we attached a cap that is called “arthrodesis cap”.  It´s between the upper and lining leather and helps our customer not to bend over. We sticked to the customer request and made the upper leather out of dark grey suede and the lining material consist of lambskin.

In our own workshop we built in a roll-off aid that supports a natural walk to ease the pain.

Another advantage of custom-made shoes is the opening possibility. To lace up he can use hooks and loops as many as he wants to.
